BIO

Hailing from Boston, MA, DJ Slick Vick is a young music visionary best known for her diverse range of musical interest and high energy DJ sets. She believes that music is a universal language that connects humanity, and she values the dance floor as a sacred space where human connection is not only found but amplified.

Growing up amidst a household of avid music collectors exposed her to a vast range of music genres, which inevitably birthed a profound love for arts. Very early on her friends and family began to count on her to inform them of the latest music trends, and would request that she create mixes for events.  She answered her calling and enjoyed curating the sounds of their social gatherings. It was during college where DJ Slick Vick realized she wanted to pursue DJing. In experiencing the power music has to shift the vibe of an environment she became inspired by the idea of being the one to set the tone. It was then that she began her professional musical journey at Mmmmaven, a music production school in Cambridge, MA, where she learned how to DJ.

Since she has emerged as one of the city’s most hip DJs and can be found mixing at a diverse range of spaces. From her life walk, to her love for international travel DJ Slick Vick incorporates all facets of the arts into work. DJ Slick Vick has performed DJ sets up and down the East Coast and as far out as Cabo Verde.
